Do you find the present font - SaiIndira - inconvenient to read or is it not showing up on your screen?

People who have azhagi at their finger touch (no pun) will not have any problem in reading SaiIndira.

Will try to find an acceptable font else we can ask our folks to download azhagi.

Suddenly I was able to read the write up on Boomi when I opened the blog site again in Google Chrome. In the olden days, one Mr Seshadri Civil Foreman used to show off by asking " endha north sir, natural north or magnetic north? " From that time on, i surmised there are two points called absolute north, one in the polar northern tip and the other in the magnetic compass north. But i did not bother to collect accurate details. A search in wikipedia etc., may throw light on this.

Downloaded book on magnetism by Cornwell. Book talks of every thing except that for most of the first half and the later part raises more doubts

I like magnets very much.
They attract me more than
the other magnetic (?) materials!

magnets and lenses have an appeal to any child and I am no exception.

I am reading this only today. May be someone else would have answered. In my opinion, the degree of inclination is in relationship with the plane of the orbit. ie earth's orbiting plane with respect to the sun. If you spin a top so that it also goes around a point in an orbit, you would notice that the top's head does not stay upright 90degree with the plane of the floor but inclined outwards (away from the centre point). KGS, have I passed the test ?

You are defying the known data. One, if Mother Earth should decide to adjust the position of South pole - assuming for a moment that it is the head that is drawn in to counter centrifugal force, don't you think a reversal cannot take place and it will continue to be summer or winter in the respective hemisphere?
